One Fit City – We All Hit Plateaus, Just Keep Climbing

I think I’ve officially hit a plateau. I’m stuck around the 100 lb weight loss mark, going slightly up and slight down. I’m slowly getting eating back on check and after I’m done house sitting and cat sitting I’m going to be back to pushing the workouts. I am still pushing the workouts I am doing. This past Monday Jordan got me doing chin ups again (yes still weight assisted, but they count!). I was able to do the first set of 10 without taking a break, and on the outside (harder) bar. The next 2 sets I did break and adjust which bars I used, but I’m pushing it. Then after trying to get out of running (I was tired), Jordan told me to just run for 10 mins, and not to worry about distance. If I got to .5, or .75 that’s fine. So….after thinking about it I figured tired or not I’ll try to give’r. I managed to do 1 mile in 12:09.

I’ve been thinking of motivation lately, how to get it back and push like I was. I think goals. Shoot for the goals I’m making, make more, and keep reminding myself of them. To do that I think I’m going to make a good ole fashioned collage. Take a couple of my main goals, and put something together so it’s in my face. Support also works too. Having people around that keep you positive, that will push you, and keep supporting you. I have learned to keep the negative people at a distance, and keep the positive people around. And the main thing….keep going. I’m going to keep pushing. We all take slips but we have to get back up and keep pushing!!
So…I’m going to keep going. I’m going to get my motivation back, say no to the bad eating stuff, push at the gym and increase the workouts….and get to the goals. Determination that’s all you need to achieve anything!!!! (and my stubbornness helps a bit).
